Valentine's Day On A Budget

You don't have to break the bank to show your loved ones that you care. I am going to post some inexpensive suggestions that are sure to be a big hit.

1. Love Coupons- Romantic little coupons your sweetheart can cash in, such as breakfast in bed, one free back rub etc.

You can make these cards yourself, with just a little creativity, plus making them, with your own hand, will make the coupons that much more special!

2- Written Word- Making a card or writing a poem expressing how much your partner means to you is a great gift and there are
great craft sites, and graphic sites for making that perfect card for them.

Or use our Luna Pic app below.

3. Romantic Movie Date- You can go to your local library and check out romantic comedies or films for free just pop some popcorn
and grab your partner and snuggle on the couch.

Here are some movie suggestion to look for:
When Harry Met Sally
Letters To Juliet
A Walk To Remember
The Princess Bride
Gone With The Wind

4. Make A Mix Cd- of your favorite songs, or songs with a specific theme.

Here are some song suggestions to look for:
Savage Garden - Truly, Madly, Deeply
Boyz II Men - I'll Make Love to You
The Pretenders - I'll Stand By You
Madonna - Crazy For You

5. Night On The Town- A Night on the town doesn't have to be expensive, just check your local newspaper for free events, like outdoor concerts at your local park, free pass visits to museums and art galleries, or take a nature hike at your local nature preserve.

6. Say It With Food- Making your loved one a romantic dinner or sweet will be a big hit with them, just light some candles, set the table and enjoy.

Here are some recipe suggestions:

Easy OREO Truffles
Original recipe makes 3 -1/2 dozenChange Servings
1 (16 ounce) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
1 (8 ounce) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 (8 ounce) packages BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted.

Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin.) Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
Dip balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use.) Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

2 tablespoons olive oil
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into thin strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup pesto
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

7. Trip Down Memory Lane: Document your favorite memories with your loved one by making them a photo album or memory box. Place items the your favorite moments you've shared with
them.

8. I Love You: Just Tell your partner how you truly feel about them. It's cheap, easy, and free, and they will appreciate it more then a store bought gift or fancy dinner out.
