I say 90's, only because they seemed a little more real to me in that era.
I mean, there were faces of all kinds then, and figures, and hair..... etc..

Today's models seen very generic to me. Suspect

~That's exactly what I think, but haven't been able to articulate it until you've done so for me Smile

I've always felt that the ones of the 90's were more identifiable, in that you could identify with them as a person/as an individual, and also as in they were easily and often recognized everywhere they went, as they still are today. I mean, people knew their names whether they were into fashion or not......for example, everyone knew who Cindy Crawford was and they still do. While the models of today are beautiful, no doubt, and many of them do have unique looks, I often find myself having to look up their names. I can't keep up with which is which, and it's almost like the reason I can't/don't is because there is no "spark" in them.....so what makes me want to? It's almost as if they're "empty".....a shell, or a bunch of shells. And I don't like saying that, but it is how I see it and how I feel it.
